VWT Develops Innovative Event Series in Collaboration with Industry Leaders Delta Air Lines, Travel + Leisure, Abercrombie & Kent
Valerie Wilson Travel kicked off their Fall Client Series last week with an exclusive conversation with Delta Air Lines. The event featured Jennifer Wilson-Buttigieg, Co-President & Owner of VWT, as well as Delta Air Lines’ Chuck Imhof, Vice President New York & Sales, East; Mike Medeiros, Vice President of Global Cleanliness; and Captain Phil Smith. The innovative event connected over 200 VWT clients with the industry leaders who are making decisions that will directly impact their travel experience. The discussion delved into the steps Delta has taken to ensure traveler safety and how Delta is striving to set industry standards in the new world of travel. “Delta is providing layers of protection across the journey through investments in cleanliness, more space and safer service, so customers can travel with confidence,” said Chuck Imhof, Delta’s Vice President, Sales-East. “We’re proud to partner with companies like VWT that that are innovating and looking at how to most responsibly lead the way into the future of travel.”
The collaboration with Delta was just one in a series of events that connects clients to industry titans. “We specifically wanted to develop a virtual event that not only keeps our clients inspired and informed, but also works to build back their confidence in travel and deliver them our Power of Access,” remarked Jennifer Wilson-Buttigieg. “It was amazing to see so many of our wonder- ful clients engaged with one of our most preferred partners and we can’t wait to continue the series.”
VWT will be hosting their next client-focused event, A Deep Dive into the Future of Travel with VWT this Thursday, September 24th. Jacqui Gifford, Travel + Leisure Editor-in-Chief will be joining to moderate the panel, which will be made up of Valerie Ann Wilson, Founder, CEO, Chairman & Owner; Jennifer Wilson-Buttigieg and Kimberly Wilson Wetty, Co-Presidents & Owners.
Gifford will undoubtedly bring a fantastic perspective to the conversation as the panel breaks down the ins and outs of navigating future travel. On Thursday, October 8th, the VWT Client Series will be featuring Geoffrey Kent, Founder and Co-Chairman of Abercrombie & Kent. Future
events included such companies as Silversea and Celebrity Cruise Line.
