What excites me about traveling depends upon who I am traveling with. When I am traveling with my husband, I love big cities. I especially love eating at a local restaurant with my husband and walking the cities at night where you feel like you are part of the culture. I also love history and use a guide wherever I go. A tip: always ask your guide about local restaurants and special nooks. When I travel with my family, I love to be active. I have three boys and we love to spend time together skiing, paragliding, hiking, biking, surfing, fishing and any other activities we can find.
I love to travel and I travel all over the world. Although it is hard for me to narrow down my favorite places, Italy and Utah are the two destinations which feel like home. To me, there is nothing like being on a boat in the Mediterranean with the freshest olives and a local bottle of wine. Similarly, there is nothing more freeing than skiing down the fresh powder in the luxury resort of Deer Valley, Utah with my husband and three children.
Da Adolpho restaurant in Positano, Italy. You can only get there by boat. The restaurant sits directly on the beach and has the freshest food in the world. Order the grilled Mozzarella on Lemon Leaves, Grilled Bronzino stuffed with herbs and a pitcher of local wine with peaches.
I traveled extensively as a child. I traveled all over the world with my family, from Italy to France, Israel, Hawaii and beyond. Every vacation we had was spent exploring the world. I use my experience traveling as a child to specialize in planning trips for families. I understand what it means to travel with a stroller down the cobblestone streets of Florence and the need for rooms that accommodate families with young children. Having teenagers myself, I also know how to create touring itineraries which are geared to all ages. I recently planned a two week trip to Italy for a client which included travelers ranging in ages from 85 to 3 years old. These are my favorite type of trips to plan because it allows me to be creative.
