1984 was my year of enlightenment and inspiration. I became a luxe travel consultant after years of lackluster marketing analysis gigs. I wanted to follow in my grandmother’s footsteps. She traveled the world when people dressed in grand style to see the great pyramid, sporting furs and glorious hats from fine milliners.
