I enjoy sitting at an outdoor café watching the local people go about their business. From the cities, countryside, and quiet beaches …I love it all!
I am asked all the time what my favorite place is that I have travelled to. I feel each destination offers something new, something different so it’s hard to pick just one place! With that being said, my most favorite tropical/beach destination would be Fiji, the people, the culture, the remote island resorts with no crowds, just pristine beauty surrounding you. My favorite European destination is definitely Italy, I never get tired of exploring this beautiful country with rich history, amazing food and wine, the beautiful Tuscan countryside, Amalfi coast and more. Last, New Zealand. I absolutely love this destination for the adventure, spectacular scenery, friendly people and the food and wine.
Not long ago I stayed at the Monastero Santa Rosa Hotel on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. Formerly a 17th century Monastery turned luxury boutique hotel with only 20 rooms and suites which is perched high above the Amalfi coastline. The views over the gulf of Salerno are outstanding, the hotel is situated between the towns of Amalfi and Positano but far enough away to experience the quiet solitude of this busy area. I enjoyed the beautiful spa and relaxing by the infinity pool with THE most amazing views!
