About 30 years ago I answered an ad for a part time opportunity and it turned out to be a travel agency in Scarsdale, NY. I started part time and I didn’t even have a passport at the time! My first trip was to the Savoy Hotel in London, and the rest is history. I got the travel bug and just kept on going!
Florence, Italy
I love this city and can visit it every year. I am able to walk through the streets without cars and sit and have an espresso in one of the beautiful squares. People watching is wonderful here.
I also like the fact that from this one city you can visit so many small famous Tuscan Towns in less than an hour.
I must have been Florentine in my past life.
Ronda, Spain is a true hidden gem. It is just one hour north of Marbella and it is the home of bull fighting. There is so much history here! Orson Welles was one of many actors that visited Ronda many times. But Ronda’s landscape is what impressed me the most. The olive estates, mountains, and a magnificent stone bridge connecting both sides of the town. A must stop in Southern Spain.
