I was born and raised in Stamford, CT and hold a B.S. degree from Southern Connecticut University in Education. Along with my husband ,I have a daughter Megan who is 33 and a son Sean age 27. In my spare time, I love the theater, salsa dancing and going out to dinner. I have been with family businesses my whole life; my family and extended family owns many Shoprite Supermarkets. I have now been with Valerie Wilson Travel for over 11 years and truly loving it!
My favorite place is Italy. It also my # 1 destination to book. The Country has so much to offer, as you cannot compare one city with the nest as they are all so different. My favorites are Sorrento and Lake Como.
My favorite restaurant is the Cliffs in Barbados. You dine on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Stunning views and great food.
My first travel job was in 1981. I worked in Student tours; both ski and spring break. I then took a travel course and went to American airlines school.
Worked at various agencies and then took a break for a while as my husband and I owned a party store.
After years, I worked for Robustelli World Travel which was acquired by HRG and then our team joined Valerie Wilson Travel. Part of my day is to book many different Prize Winners from various major businesses and sports companies. I greatly enjoy this account as each winner is given the opportunity to travel and many of the winners have never traveled before.
I specialize in leisure travel and book many of my friends and relatives from my community as well as assist with our Fulfillment team. Besides prize winners, I enjoy booking honeymooners and special anniversaries.
