Your future self will thank you for planning a well-deserved break ahead of time, and why not cross a few items off your travel bucket list while you’re at it. Here are six iconic Spring destinations, from Italy to Amsterdam, that are bound to make your Spring Break one to remember.

Grand Hotel Zermatterhof – Zermatt, Switzerland

Grand Hotel Zermatterhof sits in the heart of the enchanting mountain world of Zermatt and is a perfect mix of cosmopolitan lifestyle alongside the sporting activities that surround the famous Matterhorn. The 69-room hotel first opened in 1879 and is a traditional luxury establishment in a central yet peaceful location of the city. Guests can be picked up in a horse-drawn carriage before exploring the hotel’s three restaurants, Vita Borni Spa, and surrounding alpine landscape.

Nayara Springs – San Carlos, Costa Rica

Nayara Springs is an adults-only resort that sits in Arenal Volcano National Park. Walking along one of the hotel’s many trails, guests can spot sloths, monkeys, and tropical plants and fruits. 35 private villas exude pure luxury, romance and privacy, featuring water that feeds directly from the volcano. After the excitement of the day, guests can return to their own mineral-rich plunge pool or unwind on the balcony listening to the sounds of birds and crickets – in everything embracing “Pura Vida.”

Royal Mansour Marrakech – Marrakech, Morrocco

Royal Mansour Marrakech was born out of the desire to share the authentic Moroccan lifestyle with its guests through unmatched excellence and luxury – the locals call it the “best hotel in Marrakech.” Steps away from the famous Jemma el-Fnaa square, protected in the city walls, the hotel grasps the unique concept of having a medina within a medina giving guests the ability to seamlessly roam through its intricate rooms, gardens, pools, and four restaurants with an abundance of sensory delights.

San Domenico Palace, Taormina, A Four Seasons Hotel – Taormina, Italy

San Domenico Palace is perched on a rock promontory high above the Ionian Sea with panoramic views of Mount Etna and the ancient Greek theatre.  This 14th-century convent was most recently featured on season 2 of HBO’s White Lotus and is just as dreamy as it is on screen. Guests can swim in the hotel’s clifftop infinity pool, unwind in the spa and explore the charming town of Taormina right outside its doors.

The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island – Fernandina Beach, Florida

Located on the barrier island beaches of North Florida is one of the most popular beach destinations on the East Coast. The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island is poised on a bluff overlooking the Atlantic and embodies Southern charm and untouched coastal beauty where the sea and live oaks meet. Sitting on 13 acres of island beachfront, the resort is surrounded by an 18-hole championship golf course and offers surf lessons, an oceanfront pool, and a spa reminiscent of the ebbs and flows of the sea.
