New York City

New York City is the number one holiday tourism destination in the U.S., and it is easy to see why as this city knows how to put on a show! Whether you are getting in the Christmas spirit strolling the festive streets of Fifth Avenue, or ringing in the New Year with a rooftop view of the iconic New Year’s Eve fireworks, no city dresses up for the holidays quite like New York City. Like presents waiting to be unwrapped, the city is packed full of festivities and delights around every corner to make your spirits bright! New York City is the gift that keeps on giving.

What We Would Do:
  • New York Christmas window displays. Walk along Fifth Avenue from Central Park to get a peek at the infamous Christmas window displays from stores including Bloomingdales and Saks Fifth Avenue. Step into a store for some Christmas shopping while you are at it!
  • Bryant Park. Bryant Park’s Winter Village by Bank of America houses a free-to-use 17,000 square foot ice skating rink and Winter Village of over 170 kiosks!
  • Dyker Heights Christmas Lights. A residential neighborhood in the southwest corner of Brooklyn, Dyker Heights is infamous for its Christmas lights and decorations! Grab a warm drink and enjoy the decorations.
  • New Year’s Eve walk over the Brooklyn Bridge. Escape the crowds of the ball drop in Times Square and enjoy a bird’s eye view of fireworks strolling along the Brooklyn Bridge. Keep an eye out for views of the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, the Manhattan Bridge, and more New York landmarks.
Where We Would Stay: The Mark

The Mark is a five-star boldly luxurious hotel, situated in one of Manhattan’s most elegant neighborhoods. A short stroll from Central Park, The Mark is surrounded by New York City’s most premier museums, restaurants, and retailers. The iconic hotel was designed by the bold Jacques Grange and is a perfect combination of old-world comfort and Avant-grade design, with each and every detail accounted for. Each room incorporates the latest technologies and exquisite personal service for a five-star luxury experience. A classic New York staple that will make your holiday season legendary.
