Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

My husband Brian and I traveled to Cabo at the end of Summer 2021 for a relaxing, restful time to recharge. Truly was a week to recharge and enjoy the incredible sun and sand of Los Cabos.

Las Ventanas Al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort

We started out our trip Las Ventanas Al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort. Located on the tip of the Baja peninsula, Las Ventanas is stunning. Between the property and the exceptional staff, it is true gem in the area. We were able to tour their new 2-bedroom Ty Warner suite which is perfect for a multi-generational trip. It has an open-air fire pit, screening area, and an incredible view of the beach and coastline. One night, we tried their in-house restaurant, Arbol, an Asian influenced spot offering 4 kitchens and a variety of options. We ended the night at La Botica, the newly created speakeasy, accessed via a secret code to enter, a must visit on the property. It is a step back in time with incredible cocktails, live music, and an unmatched atmosphere.

Four Seasons Los Cabos at Costa Palmas

For the second half of our trip, we headed to the Four Seasons Los Cabos at Costa Palmas. WOW! Located on the new East Cape of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula, the property was amazing and the attention to detail was exceptional. They even setup a hammock on our patio so we could escape the heat and watch the sunrise. A true highlight of the stay was The Cabo Pulmo boat and snorkel trip to an underwater UNESCO site. It was phenomenal! We had a fantastic day on the water and saw sea lions, sea turtles, dolphins, Jack fish in swirls, coral, and many other colorful fish. It is a hidden gem so close to home. For those who want to stay closer to the hotel,  it has a private two-mile swimmable beach which is perfect for  magical sunrises, sunsets, and daily walks.

The entire area was very Covid-safe. Both Brian and I needed a negative test to go to the Four Seasons and to return to the United States, but otherwise did not need to test. Each property was very clean, filled with friendly staff, and accommodating. It is a prefect area for a restful and peaceful trip for couples, families, or any traveler looking to travel close to Mexico.
